Nina's 50th | Thali New Canaan

Thali a restaurant in the heart of New Canaan known for it's fabulous Indian cuisine was transformed into a nightclub / ultra lounge this past Saturday night featuring music, dancers and lights by DJ Leroque and a beautiful cake by Sweet Lisa's all in celebration of Nina's 50th birthday! Nina was surrounded by her closest friends and family as they truly rocked out in style! I am so happy to have been a part of Nina's celebration! I had the opportunity to photograph Darien Social a beautiful new restaurant and bar right in the heart of Darien, CT. The style is rustic and polished. The bar has too many great beers on tap to count and the food is fresh and phenomenal. Whether you are looking for a wood fired pizza and a beer on tap or an evening of fine dinning and wine be sure to give Darien Social a shot.

What can I say, Janeen and Steve have an awesome little boy Anthony. He's handsome, well behaved, smart, fun, pretty much everything you could ask for in a son. I shot Janeen and Steve's Engagement photos a couple of months back and we planned to do a separate session to incorporate their son Anthony. We hoped to shoot the family session in warmer weather, but with the temperature in the low 20's we decided to go for it and shoot indoors. I am glad we just went for it and planned a little impromptu shoot at the Sports Center of Connecticut in Shelton. Steve's father engineered the massive sports complex, so I found it pretty cool to shoot in a place that they were connected to. As always, it was fun working with you guys!
