Last night I had the opportunity to host a live photo shoot at Enigma Cafe in Norwalk, CT. My subjects consisted of a couple of models, and DJ's seeking portraits. My set up for these shoots was simple one Canon 580EX held high by my assistant Joe, and my Canon 5D and Canon 24-70 2.8L. It was a bit impromptu, but the results speak for themselves.

Mike's GTI 1.8T :: Photoshoot

I Had a chance to shoot Mike's GTI 1.8T this evening. It was a quick shoot. I shot the car with my Canon 5D using my 50 1.8 & 24-70 2.8L lenses. I also used 1 studio strobe and a 580EX for lighting and settings were in the 1/60 - 1/25 range @ f4 - 2.8, iso 250. All in all it was a good shoot, though it was a bit rushed due to high winds and a late start but some great shots were achieved and Mike was very happy.

Megan :: Photoshoot

Here are a few shots from today's shoot with Megan. The shoot took just about 2 hours beginning to end, and the post processing was complete just about an hour after shooting. The shoot took place at Cranbury Park in Norwalk, CT. It was supposed to be "warm" today, but it was actually quite cold due to the wind chill factor. Megan stuck it out like a champ and continued shooting, coming out with some awesome shots. We were going for different, edgy shots, and I think we accomplished that quite well.

Portia D'Rottie :: Pet Photography

Here are a few photos I took of Portia playing in the front yard 4 weeks after her TPLO surgery on her left knee. This is the first time I have had her outside off leash. We just sat on the lawn and played a bit, Portia then began playing on her own, so I snapped a few shots. I'm so happy she is doing better, and is enjoying playing outside again.
