I had the opportunity to photograph Darien Social a beautiful new restaurant and bar right in the heart of Darien, CT. The style is rustic and polished. The bar has too many great beers on tap to count and the food is fresh and phenomenal. Whether you are looking for a wood fired pizza and a beer on tap or an evening of fine dinning and wine be sure to give Darien Social a shot.

What can I say, Janeen and Steve have an awesome little boy Anthony. He's handsome, well behaved, smart, fun, pretty much everything you could ask for in a son. I shot Janeen and Steve's Engagement photos a couple of months back and we planned to do a separate session to incorporate their son Anthony. We hoped to shoot the family session in warmer weather, but with the temperature in the low 20's we decided to go for it and shoot indoors. I am glad we just went for it and planned a little impromptu shoot at the Sports Center of Connecticut in Shelton. Steve's father engineered the massive sports complex, so I found it pretty cool to shoot in a place that they were connected to. As always, it was fun working with you guys!

Portia Vs. T-Rex

I have a "no stuffed toy" rule for Portia, but as they say rules are meant to be broken... So, for Christmas my friend purchased a 2 foot tall stuffed T-Rex for Portia... Let's just say Portia loves her gift! I couldn't resist taking a few photos of Portia with her new friend/nemesis "Dino". =)

I want to take a moment to thank all of my friends, family and wonderful clients for making 2011 such a great year. With Christmas right around the corner I am looking forward to spending time with loved ones, and enjoying some great home cooked cuisine!

After the holidays LUCIO Photography will be continuing a growing process that started about two months ago… Improvements will be made to every component of our business including equipment, data management, personnel, product line, services and more!
